One of our valued associates, Phil has an inspiring background in the Armed Forces.
Phil is a keynote speaker, coach and facilitator, Phil helps others to thrive in challenging environments.
After graduating from university, and a short stint working in London, Phil joined the Royal Air Force in 2003 and found his calling in life. He served as a combat helicopter pilot, completing multiple tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, before becoming the lead planner for operations in the Middle East.
Phil earned the coveted Green Beret, completing the gruelling and prestigious Royal Marines’ All Arms Commando Course. Later, he taught at the UK Defence Academy, designing and delivering leadership, resilience and high performance training for the future leaders of Defence and the Civil Service.
People centred, focused on motivating others through personal example, Phil doesn’t just talk the talk – he walks the walk, not only as a dedicated and illustrious member of the military but in his personal life too, having captained a winning team of 8 to row 3,000 miles across the Atlantic in a small boat, and recently attaining first place in the Chester 100 mile ultra-marathon, to name but two outstanding achievements.
