Michael Yeomans

Professor in strategy & organisational behaviour

Michael Yeomans is a Professor of Organisational Behaviour at Imperial College Business School. Mike is an expert in the psychology and strategy of conversations. These include “high-stakes conversations” such as negotiations and managing conflict at work. Using world-class research, Mike is able to unlock for clients the secrets of becoming truly strategic conversationalists and negotiators. Mike’s research also focuses on how machine learning can be used to understand and improve human judgement and decision-making – in particular, by using natural language processing to study decisions during conversations and help relevant parties make choices that are more likely to advance the interests of all. His research has been published in many journals, including Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, Management Science, and Organisational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and prior to joining Imperial, he completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard University. With Integrity, Mike is uniquely positioned to provide clients with the tools and techniques to master high stakes conversations and negotiations, enhancing their opportunities to meet strategic goals and empowering stronger, more resilient working relationships.
